GS1 Canada enables its more than 20,000 members to enhance their efficiency and cost effectiveness by adopting electronic supply chain best practices.  Through the Carenet Strategy, the Canadian healthcare sector is leveraging the value of GS1 standards to drive interoperability and sustainability of delivery systems, improvements to patient safety, and the enabling of supply chain efficiency.

The BPS Supply Chain Secretariat is a branch of Supply Chain Ontario, Ontario Shared Services, Ministry of Government and Consumer Services.
