As member of the Clorox Canadian Professional Products (PPD) organization, reporting to the National Healthcare Sales Manager, the National Contracts Manager will have a significant impact on the PPD business by influencing end users via Procurement to adopt Clorox Healthcare products for use across their facility. Primary contact for procurement and contract negotiations with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), other Healthcare chains or affiliated groups.
Drive sales via contracts and tender processes and manages the processes for bidding including calendars related to procurements and cont
Drives both new and existing End User conversion/expanded usage of the Clorox Healthcare portfolio of products within Healthcare facilities via monitoring of adherence to contract compliance.
Work supportively with Procurement Officers and Clerks to provide guidance and assistance with bid documents, evaluation processes and contract management.
Assist with procurement function, oversee aspects of purchasing, negotiations, strategies and process implementation.
Procurement/Supply Chain experience; preference for experience in a hospital setting.
Current knowledge of and experience with strategic sourcing, procurement and purchasing practices and methods, total cost analysis techniques.
5 years of direct healthcare / hospital sales experience or infection control
Working knowledge of the various provincial health structures/organizations.
Current knowledge of and experience with trade agreements and Broader Public Sector Act.
BS/BA degree Must have or be working towards a Certified Supply Chain Management Professional Designation A member of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada
