National Healthcare Contracts Manager

As member of the Clorox Canadian Professional Products (PPD) organization, reporting to the National Healthcare Sales Manager, the National Contracts Manager will have a significant impact on the PPD business by influencing end users via Procurement to adopt Clorox Healthcare products for use across their facility. Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary contact for procurement and contract negotiations with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), other Healthcare chains or affiliated groups.
  • Drive sales via contracts and tender processes and manages the processes for bidding including calendars related to procurements and cont
  • Drives both new and existing End User conversion/expanded usage of the Clorox Healthcare portfolio of products within Healthcare facilities via monitoring of adherence to contract compliance.
  • Work supportively with Procurement Officers and Clerks to provide guidance and assistance with bid documents, evaluation processes and contract management.
  • Assist with procurement function, oversee aspects of purchasing, negotiations, strategies and process implementation. 

Essential Qualifications:

  • Procurement/Supply Chain experience; preference for experience in a hospital setting. 
  • Current knowledge of and experience with strategic sourcing, procurement and purchasing practices and methods, total cost analysis techniques.
  • 5 years of direct healthcare / hospital sales experience or infection control 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of the various provincial health structures/organizations.
  • Current knowledge of and experience with trade agreements and Broader Public Sector Act.

Education Requirements:
BS/BA degree Must have or be working towards a Certified Supply Chain Management Professional Designation A member of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada
