Description: Manager, Supply Services OGPMSS Consider this unique opportunity to apply your leadership skills to make a significant contribution in building public confidence in the Ontario’s healthcare system where you will manage the operations of the pharmaceutical and medical supply service warehouse and distribution of vaccines, drugs, emergency and general medical supplies to provincial health facilities, hospitals, long-term care facilities, correctional facilities, physicians and other related government institutions. You will: develop and evaluate business processes, program and service delivery practices, warehouse and distribution policies and standard operating procedures to reflect changes in legislation and government policy lead a team of professionals involved in the forecasting and planning of vaccine, drug, general and emergency medical supply acquisition according to operational directions and demands by leading activities relating to ordering, requisition, annual inventory and recordkeeping activities as well as the monthly inventory reconciliation and the fiscal year-end physical inventory count assess and determine business needs for electronic inventory, financial management and physical security systems, to ensure timely, efficient, safe and cost effective warehouse practices and service delivery and respond to unique/specific needs of planning, analysis, handling and risk management of medical materials ensure that practices are in place, monitored and enforced to protect critical healthcare products during storage, packing and transportation participate in and contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a 24-hour on-call system to ensure provision of vaccines, drugs and medical supplies during public health emergencies or disasters Location: Concord

Technical Skills: You demonstrate knowledge of medical products and pharmaceutical supply, including cold-chain requirements for critical vaccine supply, to maintain the integrity of products and ensure compliance with the zero error standards for order-filling to prevent potentially dangerous medical situations and additional processing costs You demonstrate knowledge applicable Federal and Provision legislation required in the operation of land transport services, to ensure the safe operation of the warehouse and a fleet of delivery vehicles according to regulations and legislation, including appropriate agreements for the delivery of products via air, freight, courier, cargo and other means of transport You demonstrate knowledge of policy development, to develop warehouse and distribution policies and standard operating procedures to reflect changes in legislation and government policy

Salary Range: $68,671 – $98,950 per year
